2023-2024 LAHC REGISTRATION FOR ALL COACHES & VOLUNTEERS!
Each coach, team manager or volunteer must register FIRST with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for the LAHC 2023-2024 season.
Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register. Be sure to PRINT and SAVE the confirmation code. Each coach/volunteer must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
SAFESPORT PROGRAM TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
USA Hockey implemented the SafeSport Program in 2012. As part of the process for the 2023-2024 season training is required for all volunteers that have regular contact with minors including but not limited to officials, coaches, team managers and 2006 b.y. and older players. Training must be completed prior to participation with youth players. Other club volunteers are also highly encouraged to complete the training. The online training is free of charge takes approximately 90 – 120 minutes to complete and is required annually. The training does not have to be done in one sitting but can be done in parts until complete. You'll need your USA Hockey membership number to register for the training. Once training is complete please be sure to notify the club Registrar and provide the club with a copy of your SafeSport Completion Certificate.

The guidelines are outlined through the page link below; background screening is required for local association club administrators/ board members, coaches, team managers, officials, locker room monitors and anyone with routine access to youth participants and are usually valid for two seasons.

STUDENT COACHES
Currently registered players age 13 - 17 can act as Student Coaches under the direct supervision of a currently registered coach. USA hockey guidelines for Student Coaches are outlined in the link below. Any player 18 or older must comply with regular coaching guidelines.
